dr chidi reuben achebe
Dr. Chidi Reuben Achebe has been a medical doctor for almost 3 decades (almost 1 decade in Nigeria and almost 2 decades in the city of Newark)
Here in Newark, he started from residency in Newark Beth Israel Hospital, where he ended up as the Chief Resident then moving on to a fellowship in Preventive Medicine and Public Health at Rutgers University Hospital in Newark.
He has been working at the Newark Community Health Center for almost 14 years, where he held the position of Director of Pediatrics for about 12 years and the Chief Medical Officer intermittently for about 4 years. Has also held the position of Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, Newark.
He has won several awards in the community, including the prestigious Healthcare hero award from the New Jersey state primary care association in 2017.
He lives and works in Newark, where he also raised his children who attended schools here in Newark where he has been going to educate our kids on how to remain healthy and how to get into the medical field in future.
